time...

A month filled with work. A week filled with English. A day will with sunshine. An hour filled with boredom. A moment filled love. And it all. Comes. Together.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world--the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions--is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1John 2:15-17

week of ministry.

week. weak. strong. blessed. And. forever changed.
children. people. animals. houses and shacks. lives will always be changed. before others are changed ours first need to be changed. it has been changed. long ago. and again. now.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart. me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice. Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.  For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it; you will not be pleased with a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Do good to Zion in your good pleasure; build up the walls of Jerusalem; then will you delight in right sacrifices, in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on your altar. Psalms 51.

sundays.

saterday evenings. sunday mornings. special moments. special sunrises. special birthdays. all orchestrated. all painted. all perfect.

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honour. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! ~ Psalms 8.

black and white worlds.

week spent discovering truths, weekends are spent practising truths.

new world order. that of old.
truth is discovered. but rejected. wisdom is rejected by the foolish. but accepted by the chosen. we are wise. Not because we are of knowledge. we are wise not on our own. we are wise because. He is infinitely. Wise.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7.

all is black and white.
While He is red.

ואמר אך־חשׁך ישׁופני ולילה אור בעדני׃
 גם־חשׁך לא־יחשׁיך ממך ולילה כיום יאיר כחשׁיכה כאורה׃
Psalms 139:11-12

things we see but do not notice. things we notice but do not understand.

our days pass by with our eyes closed. our hearts closed. our hearts empty.

Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the worldholding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labour in vain. Philippians 2:16~14.

stop. feel. love. believe. shine.

Amazing Grace...

Time spent, times of weakness, times of study, times of tears, times of love, times of blessing, time spent spending time.

we approach to start the sunday of today, think back, to the week that was, look to the week that is to be, wonder how, wonder why. we know that there is only reason to.

bound for the end, bound for love, bound for it all.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’d first begun.

“I was blind but now I see!” John 9:25

bound to you.
